Dr. Eileen Schofield
Dr. Schofield grew up in a military family and spent her youth on the West Coast moving wherever her father was stationed. While considering a career in medicine, she sustained an injury to her neck and shoulder. After treating unsuccessfully with traditional medical treatment, she began treatment with a chiropractor and essentially changed her career path.
She is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, which is the worlds oldest chiropractic college and is considered to be the “premiere chiropractic college” in the world.
Dr. Schofield’s practice is focused on cause and prevention of neuro-muscular skeletal disorders as well as auto injuries, on the job injuries, and family practice. She works closely with other health care practitioners and has a wide referral base to address any health problem an individual may be experiencing.
Dr. Schofield is currently the District 9 Director, serving her third term on the Washington State Chiropractic Board of Directors and is acutely aware of the health issues in our state.
She has two grown children. Her oldest boy served in the U.S. Military and is now enjoying college life. Her youngest recently completed the cosmetology program at Aveda Institutue in Seattle. Dr. Schofield is happily married, loves animals, and enjoys free time hiking, biking, and playing with her dogs. Dr. Schofield also is the past president of the Federal Way Chiropractic Society.
Kyran Semlar, Patient Advocate
I’m Kyran Semlar, your patient advocate. My goal is to help your visits run smoothly by keeping you well informed on your care and treatment plan. I have over 5 years in the chiropractic profession. Prior to finding chiropractic I was an insurance agent for over seven years. This experience helps me to navigate the sometimes confusing language of insurance benefits. I have also been a bicoastal nanny and have received certification in CPR.
Chiropractic has had a wonderful effect on many in my family, especially my 7 yr old daughter, Madeline. From birth, she suffered from chronic ear infections that were compounded by her allergies to any medicinal “cures”. Once she started chiropractic adjustments the ear infections faded to an unpleasant memory.
My life outside of work is a Washingtonian mix of camping, parks, festivals, road trips and beach excursions. I enjoy spending a lot of time in the kitchen teaching Madeline, my new husband, Sloan, and my bonus kids Alyssa and Andrew how to cook and bake.

Sonia Joseph, LMP
I’m Sonia Joseph and my first experience with chiropractic and massage was in 1997. I was severely injured in a massive auto accident and as a result I started treatment. I was so impressed with the results of my therapies that it sparked an interest in massage.
At the time I was attending Bellevue Community College studying criminology. I transferred to Renton Technical College to complete the massage practitioner program. I graduated in 2000 with AAS / LMP and have been in practice for 11 years. I specialize in auto / work injuries, chronic pain management and deep tissue / relaxation.
I combine various modalities which included deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascical release and neuromuscular therapy. I personalize individual treatment plans based on the clients needs.
Emphasizing with the client about improving health and facilitate healing by continuing healthy habits out side the office. My intentions are to enhance a clients physical, mental, and emotional well being.
